Why I created Breakup Recovery Cards

As someone who has worked with many women, I also saw a common pattern. A breakup often isn't just about losing a relationship—it reveals the ways we've lost ourselves through people-pleasing, seeking validation, ignoring our own needs, or forgetting who we are outside of the relationship.

That's why I created this card deck.

While this deck was designed to support women navigating a breakup, its heart is helping you reconnect with yourself. Each card combines encouragement, self-reflection, and practical exercises to help you build healthier habits, strengthen your confidence, set boundaries, and move forward one small step at a time.

My hope is that these cards become a compassionate companion—helping you find your way back to yourself with greater self-kindness, resilience, and confidence.

Because moving forward isn't about forgetting what happened—it's about remembering who you are.

The goal isn't to forget your story. It's to stop letting it write your future.

A breakup or divorce is more than the end of a relationship. It often brings to the surface patterns that may have been there long before the relationship began—people-pleasing, seeking validation, difficulty setting boundaries, or putting everyone else's needs before your own.

Sometimes, it isn't just the relationship you've lost. It's the relationship you've lost with yourself.

This card deck was created to help you begin finding your way back.

More than a collection of affirmations, these cards combine reflection with practical exercises designed to help you understand your patterns, strengthen your confidence, and reconnect with the person you were before self-abandonment became your way of coping.

My approach is rooted in both evidence-informed principles and mind-body practices because lasting change involves more than positive thinking alone. When you begin to understand your thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and the way your nervous system responds to stress, you can make choices that are aligned with who you truly are—not just who you've learned to be.

Healing isn't about forgetting the past. It's about reclaiming your voice, rebuilding trust in yourself, and creating healthier relationships—starting with the one you have with yourself.

No matter where you are today, you don't have to stay there. Every small choice to choose yourself is a step toward greater confidence, healthier boundaries, and a life that feels more authentic.

I hope these cards become a supportive companion as you move forward—not simply beyond a breakup, but toward the woman you're becoming.
